For those who start a running program, in the beginning the volumes and intensities are lower. As you evolve in the run these parameters will suffer increments, but sequentially and within a safety limit, in order to avoid some kind of injury and make you stop the activity. At first, there’s no point in pushing too hard. We must make sure your expectations are compatible with the reality of your body. That’s why we should increase the distances from controlled handling tests.
It is very important that you pay attention to your body during the activity and pass all the information to your responsible coach. The effort perception is an important factor, along with data from some monitoring equipment of other variables, such as heart rate, VO2, among others, so that their spreadsheets are made according to their current physical condition. Even if you wear GPS watch and heart rate monitor, learn to listen to see if you’re on edge.
In addition to the running training we can not forget the training of strengthening and the care with feeding and hydration, not only during the practice of the activity, but in our daily lives.
